Join us this Thanksgiving as we discuss a first for us - a female serial killer.
Dorothea Puente preyed on societyās most vulnerable. Those that few people would miss. Those that few people would look for. Her reign of terror was finally discovered when a social worker took extra care to watch over one of her charges.
Albert Montoya was sent to live in the gingerbread-like Victorian boarding house managed by Dorothea Puente. There, he was supposed to be cared for and protected.
What resulted was as gruesome as it was unbelievable. Montoya was one of 7 bodies, dug up from the backyard of 1426 F Street.
